The Method
The Metabolic Resilience Protocol
A five-phase coaching protocol built on the R.E.S.E.T. framework — built for men over 40 whose metabolism, hormones, and energy stopped responding to what used to work.
Why Most Approaches Fail
Most people are chasing the wrong thing. They focus on weight. On fitness. On symptoms.
But weight and fitness are outcomes. Symptoms are signals. None of them are causes.
Most approaches fail because they treat symptoms, ignore system function, and produce short-term results that eventually plateau. The diet that worked for six weeks stops working. The training plan that built muscle at 35 leaves you depleted at 50. The supplement stack moves the needle for a while, then doesn’t.
“The tactics aren’t the problem. The system underneath them is.”
The real solution is to restore the five domains your metabolism actually depends on — Rhythm, Environment, Sleep, Energy, and Timing — in the order your biology requires.
This is what the Metabolic Resilience Protocol was built to do.

The R.E.S.E.T. Framework
Five Domains of Metabolic Resilience
The protocol works through five domains — measured in Phase I, installed in Phase II, deepened in Phases III and IV, and maintained in Phase V.
Rhythm
Restore circadian timing.
Consistent wake time, sleep window, and meal timing aligned to your biological and environmental signals. Re-anchors the synchronization between brain and metabolism that modern life erodes.
Environment
Light is the master signal.
Morning sunlight anchors the cortisol awakening response, supports insulin and leptin sensitivity, sets melatonin onset 14–16 hours later, and supports mitochondrial signaling. Evening light reduction protects sleep architecture.
Sleep
Where metabolic repair happens.
Deep sleep is when cortisol normalizes, inflammation drops, and hormones stabilize. Sleep timing, sleep environment, and circadian alignment are addressed as one system — isolated sleep interventions don’t hold.
Energy
Metabolism is fundamentally energy production.
Metabolic flexibility, nutrient density, resistance training synchronized with your hormonal balance and programmed against your DEXA, and targeted mitochondrial support — to restore your body’s ability to produce energy efficiently.
Timing
The variable most programs miss.
Daily meal timing, seasonal diet and carbohydrate intake, exercise timing. The same inputs delivered at the wrong time produce a fraction of the effect on insulin sensitivity, fat metabolism, and hormonal signaling. Timing is what makes the rest of the protocol compound instead of leak.
The Five Phases
The protocol installs the R.E.S.E.T. domains in a specific sequence, because the body responds to inputs in a specific order.
Know what broke.
A pre-flight check that documents your baseline before we change anything. Recommended blood panel — CBC, chemistry, hormones, inflammation. DEXA scan. Salivary cortisol rhythm where indicated. A deep-dive intake on physical health, stress level and response, lifestyle, light exposure, and habits.
No guesswork. Just facts — your starting biomarkers, on paper, before we change a single thing.
Week 1 of the program: Lab draw, DEXA scan, and a 90-minute baseline review with your coach. Your personalized protocol is implemented on Day 1, with continuous refinements from there.
Fix what’s frying your system.
Genes load the gun. Environment pulls the trigger.
Based on your Audit, we install the first three R.E.S.E.T. domains — Rhythm, Environment, and Sleep — and seed the fourth, Timing. Light exposure addressed in the morning, during the day, and in the evening. A meal window aligned to your environment and biological signals. A daily schedule rebuilt to work with your biology, not against it.
Within 30 days, measured against your Phase I baseline: sleep efficiency improves, sleep onset drops, and your morning cortisol returns to a healthier Cortisol Awakening Response pattern — the right shape, amplitude, and timing of the morning rise.
Get strong from the inside out.
Now we deepen the Energy domain. Your energy response to meals becomes a short-term indicator of improving insulin and leptin sensitivity. Meal composition and timing are configured to optimize the hormonal and energy response to food.
Movement and exercise — Level 2 cardio, HIIT, resistance — are programmed against your DEXA, your inflammatory markers, and your insulin, leptin, and glucose levels.
Cold exposure is added to restore environmental inputs and train the nervous system. Training in autonomic nervous system self-regulation begins.
Timing layers in: meal timing and composition refined, training matched to your circadian rhythm and inflammatory status.
60-day targets: fasting glucose under 95 mg/dL, HOMA-IR under 1.5, hs-CRP under 1.0 — with 1–2 lbs of lean mass added and 5–10 lbs of fat dropped.
Power on.
We re-test the full Phase I panel. The re-test shows exactly where the protocol moved you, and where there’s still work to do. From here, we refine the protocol against your actual biomarkers — meal composition, training programming, recovery interventions, and timing all tuned to where your numbers landed.
Strength climbs measurably — training emphasizes compound movements with optimal reps and sets. Inflammation drops. Aches fade. Focus sharpens. Mood lifts. Libido returns.
This is the phase where life gets easier, because your body finally works with you.
Lock it in. Go further.
All five R.E.S.E.T. domains now run on autopilot. You hit performance markers you haven’t experienced in years, possibly decades — without daily program management:
- Total testosterone trending into clinical optimal range (700–900 ng/dL)
- Sleep efficiency and quality holding
- hs-CRP under 1.0 and approaching the optimal 0.3–0.7 mg/L range — reflective of improved visceral fat, stress levels, sleep, insulin and leptin sensitivity, and improving mitochondrial function
We hardwire the habits, document your personal protocol, and prepare you for life beyond coaching. This is the new normal. High performance. Steady energy. Low effort.
What You Handle. What We Handle.
The program is focused on shifting and refining what you’re already doing. The emphasis is on signals and timing.
No daily program management on your part.
What your Coach handles
- Recommended lab panel, biomarker interpretation, and tracking
- Personalized protocol design and ongoing refinement
- Lifestyle, light, sleep, and nutritional inputs that drive hormonal balance
- Light, sleep, and circadian rhythm strategy
- 10 one-on-one calls, plus a 3-month biomarker retest review
What you handle
- Initial cleanup of the obvious lifestyle factors holding you back
- Showing up to your calls, open to fine-tuning
- Refining the daily practices we install — the small ones that compound
- Managing your light environment day and night
- Natural light exposure, artificial light exposure, nnEMF mitigation
What you don’t do
- Manage another health app
- Track macros
- Spend two hours a day in a gym
- Add a job to your job
Who This Is For
This protocol is designed for you if:
- You’re 40 or older and noticing the pattern: declining energy, eroding sleep, stalled body composition, hormones drifting in directions training and clean eating can’t correct.
- You’ve already tried the basics — better diet, more exercise, supplements — and gotten partial results at best.
- You want a structured, integrated coaching protocol rather than another self-directed experiment.
- You’re willing to commit to a structured program and a 3-month retest cycle.
This protocol is not the right fit if:
- You have an active acute medical condition that needs to be addressed by your physician first.
- You’re looking for a quick fix in under 30 days.
- You’re not willing to do baseline labs and a DEXA scan.
- You’re looking for medical care or prescription management — this is coaching, not medicine.
Find Out Where Your System Has Broken Down
The question isn’t whether something is wrong. The question is which system broke down first — and in what sequence it needs to be restored.
That’s what the Metabolic Resilience Score identifies. A short assessment that evaluates the five biological systems that regulate metabolism — Circadian Rhythm, Light Environment, Sleep Quality, Metabolic Flexibility, and Inflammation Signals — and pinpoints which one is most disrupted in your specific case.
It takes a few minutes. Your results are emailed instantly. There is nothing to buy.
